Welcome to TripSync. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the TripSync mobile app and any related services (collectively, the "Service") provided by Elev8 Ventures Limited Liability Company ("we", "our", or "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
You must be at least 13 years old to use TripSync. If you are under 18, you confirm that a parent or legal guardian agrees to these Terms on your behalf. The Service is not intended for use by children under 13.
You're responsible for the email and password you choose, and for the activity that happens under your account. Don't share your account credentials, and tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.
You can delete your account at any time from inside the app (My Trips → profile photo → Delete Account) or by contacting tech@tripsync.us. Deletion is permanent.
TripSync is built for friendly group travel planning. To keep it that way, you agree NOT to use the Service to:
We reserve the right (but have no obligation) to remove content or suspend accounts that violate these standards. We aim to act on credible reports of abuse within 24 hours.
Content you create or contribute to a trip — names, descriptions, expenses, photos, votes, messages, preferences — remains yours. By posting it to a trip, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, and process that content as needed to operate the Service for you and other members of that trip.
You are responsible for the content you post. If you see content from another user that violates these Terms, please report it: abuse@tripsync.us.
If another user posts content that's abusive, harassing, or otherwise violates Section 3, you may report it to us at abuse@tripsync.us with the trip name, the content in question, and a brief description. We aim to review credible reports within 24 hours and may remove the content, warn the user, or suspend the offending account.
You may also leave any trip at any time. Trip organizers can remove any member from a trip they organize at their discretion, and we may remove members or suspend accounts that violate these Terms.
TripSync may surface links to third-party services such as Viator, Tripadvisor, OpenTable, Google Places, and others, where you can book travel-related products or view venue information outside the app. Those bookings or external interactions are governed by the third party's terms — TripSync is not a party to the booking and is not responsible for delivery, refunds, or disputes related to those services.
TripSync's core features are currently free to use. Any future paid features will be clearly priced before purchase. If we add paid features in the future, separate purchase terms will apply at that time.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We do our best to keep things working, but we don't guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the trip recommendations will be perfectly accurate. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Elev8 Ventures Limited Liability Company will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising under these Terms is limited to the amount (if any) you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or if we believe doing so is necessary to protect other users or the Service.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated in the app or by email to your account address. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Tennessee, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Tennessee.
